Research is the central focus of CIEP-UE’s activities. Developed from an interdisciplinary perspective, it articulates different areas of knowledge to understand the contemporary challenges of education, psychology, and society, and to produce knowledge with scientific and social impact.

The Center’s scientific activity is organized around four thematic areas, which intersect with six major contemporary challenges: mental health, inclusion, educational performance, critical thinking, innovation, and sustainability.

This approach is realized through research projects, which allow for the development of knowledge and responses to concrete problems and needs, and scientific cooperation networks, which bring CIEP-UE closer to national and international researchers, institutions, and communities.
